BayerCropscience Q3 net profit down 30.78% at Rs 93.10 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 93.10 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2023 as compared to Rs 134.50 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 30.78 per cent.
Net revenue of the company declined moderately by 8.00 per cent at Rs 954.90 crore in October-December quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 1,037.90 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During October-December quarter, operating expenses dropped by 13.18 per cent to Rs 827.00 crore from Rs 952.50 crore in year ago period.
Other Income dipped by 3.95 per cent at Rs 14.60 crore versus (Dec'22 Rs 15.20 crore).
Operating Profit surged by 49.77 per cent to Rs 127.90 crore as against Rs 85.40 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 62.70 per cent in December quarter.
Interest declined by 8.82 per cent y-o-y to Rs 3.10 crore, while Taxation decreased by 36.66 per cent at Rs 31.10 crore (Dec'22 Rs 49.10 crore).
